The Trail Life: How I Loved it, Hated it, and Learned from it, is now available on Amazon in Kindle or Paperback versions! It includes a new cover, new preface, and updated content and formatting.

What is The Trail Life? It is a book about the life lessons that Julie learned while thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in the summer of 2007, as told through stories from the trail and how they relate to everyday life. It covers everything from going thirsty in the dry, desert conditions of Southern California, to pooping her pants mid-stride in the Sierra Mountains, to staying positive in three straight days of rain in Washington. The book is certain to speak to some portion of your life, even if you never hike a single mile, and makes the perfect gift for yourself or someone you know who likes reading about life-changing experiences.

If you’ve already read the book, feel free to review the book on Amazon, as the more reviews, the more helpful it is for us to promote it. Also, purchasing the paperback version from CreateSpace (the links for paperback will take you directly there) versus Amazon allows for a small profit for Julie. The paperback version is the same on both Amazon and CreateSpace.

Thank you to all of those who have been a part of this book, whether you’ve read it already, helped in promoting it, or have been supportive of Julie and her endeavors to write and publish it.
