1 hour training run with Matt from our apartment, to Green Lake, an outside loop around Green Lake, and then back home.
My hamstrings have been horribly tight on all my runs lately, and it’s taken me about 3 miles just to warm up…which unfortunately is almost half my run. I read an article in Runner’s World about tight hamstrings and they attribute them to excessive sitting.
Fabulous. My hamstrings are tight from sitting on my butt too much.
Finished the run completely pooped and we probably didn’t even break 8:30 pace. Matt hardly broke a sweat and I crashed on the living room floor afterwards. However, I still rewarded myself with a homemade almond meal cake and chocolate rice cream.
